BAINBRIDGE, Ga. — Bainbridge Public Safety is searching for a suspect and vehicle from a hit and run involving a pedestrian.

According to BPD, a driver in a late 1990’s or early 2000’s blue Ford Taurus hit a pedestrian on Vada Road near the Decatur County Agricultural Center and fairgrounds around 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

Authorities say the car was last seen pulling a small utility trailer, had a dim driver-side tail light, is missing a mirror, and may have front and side passenger damage.

The pedestrian, who’s identity has not been released, was taken to a hospital in Tallahassee. No information on the victim’s condition is available at this time.

BPS asks anyone who has seen the vehicle or may have more information to call 911 immediately.
