Guidelines:

Establishment Row: Chain 124 [188], dc in fourth ch from snare, dc in next 2 ch *ch 1, skip 1 ch, dc in next 3 ch, rehash from * over, closure skip 1 ch, ch 1, sc in last ch. Affix off, and append new shading on the inverse (askew) corner. There ought to be 30 [46] 3 dc bunches and a circle on every end.

Cycle 1: Ch 3, 2 dc in circle framed by last ch 1, sc of establishment column. Work (ch 1, 3 dc) 3 times in same circle. Work 3 dc in space between dc gatherings, to circle at inverse end of establishment column. Work 3 dc, (ch 1, 3 dc) 3 times in end circle. Proceed around working 3 dc in every space between the dc bunches, join with a slipstitch in top of ch 3. Affix off, and connect new shading on the inverse (inclining) corner.

Cycle 2: Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc in same space {starting corner made} 3 dc between end gatherings of 3 dc (for end), (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) {corner} in next ch 1 space, 3 dc in every space between dc bunches close by, work corner in ch 1 space, 3 dc in next space between dc bunches, work corner in ch 1 space, 3 dc in every space between dc bunches nearby, slipstitch in starting ch 3. Secure off, and append new shading on the inverse (slanting) corner.

For child size scarf affix off and weave in all finishes.

For grown-up size affix off, and append new shading on the inverse (askew) corner. Rehash cycle 3 twice.
