UAB’s Bryant In Critical Condition After Shooting In Florida – New Posts 2016

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP — The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s head football coach says UAB running back Greg Bryant was injured in a shooting in South Florida.

UAB head football coach Bill Clark said in a statement released Saturday that Bryant was surrounded by family as he gets treated for gunshot wounds in West Palm Beach.

The Palm Beach Post reported that Bryant was in critical condition at St. Mary’s Medical Center.

Detective say Bryant and passenger Maurice Grover were found shot early Saturday in a car along southbound Interstate 95 in West Palm Beach.

Detective say Grover had minor injuries.

Investigators are seeking witnesses to the shooting and so far no suspects have been identified.
