Valdosta Police Search for Suspect in Shooting that Leaves 2 Injured – New Posts 2016

VALDOSTA, Ga. — Valdosta police officers are searching for a suspect who shot two people following a dispute at a club Sunday evening.

According to the Valdosta Police Department, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 600 Block of E. Hill Ave. around 2 a.m. Monday.

Police say they found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the left leg. The victim was transported to South Georgia Medical Center.

A second victim traveled to a hospital in Adel after suffering a gunshot wound to his right leg.

Both victims are in stable condition, according to police.

Police say the shooting appears to be the result of a dispute that occurred at a local club earlier Sunday evening.

Police say the shooting victims, both from Sparks, Georgia, have not been forthcoming about the incident and are currently asking anyone with any information to contact VPD at 229-293-3145 or anonymously at 229-293-3091.
